Quality Manager Role – Thomas Storey Fabrications Group Ltd

Thomas Storey Fabrications Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to drive our quality transformation journey. You’ll be a key member of our leadership team and the goal is to increase our already strong management team to ensure our customers continue to receive excellent service.

Rooted in Manchester’s proud industrial heritage, we are a leading manufacturer of steel-fabricated products serving the automotive, construction, and specialist vehicle sectors. Committed to world-class quality, we are transforming our business through strong values and a relentless focus on delivering excellence. As part of this journey, we are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join our leadership team and drive our quality transformation forward.

In this pivotal role, you will lead the charge in delivering exceptional quality by managing metrics, building strong customer relationships, and implementing robust production processes. You will play a key role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement by developing quality audit teams, conducting root cause analyses, and establishing best-practice procedures. Collaboration and teamwork will be at the heart of everything you do as you work cross-functionally to embed a quality-first mindset across the organisation while mentoring and supporting your team.

We are looking for a seasoned professional with at least five years of experience in manufacturing quality management. A strong background in steel fabrication, familiarity with ISO 9001 standards, and a proven record of leading successful quality improvement initiatives are essential. Your ability to inspire and develop teams, coupled with exceptional problem-solving skills, will set you apart in this role.

In return, we offer a competitive salary of £40,000–£50,000, a four-day work week, 27 days of annual leave, healthcare benefits, pension scheme and career progression opportunities. Beyond the benefits, this role provides the unique opportunity to shape quality strategy and directly contribute to a transformative journey within our organisation.

If you are passionate about quality, thrive in a culture of progress, and are ready to take ownership of meaningful change, we want to hear from you. Join us as we build a stronger, more innovative future—together. Apply now to become part of our team.
